We are excited to bring our long-anticipated map series to the Adirondacks! Green Goat Maps is here, and our first map is ready to print. By becoming a pre-order customer, you will get our maps before they are available in stores! Ship date is January 15th. Shipping included.

Tell me about the map

This is the region’s go-to map for winter recreation. The Lake Placid and Saranac Lake Winter Trails Map offers all of the area’s cross country ski, snowshoe and fat bike trails in one convenient place. Our beautiful map highlights the beloved Jackrabbit Ski Trail and covers ski trails from Paul Smiths to Wilmington including the popular Hayes Brook Truck Trail, Deer Pond Trails, Moose Pond Trail, Brewster Peninsula Trails, Henry’s Woods, Heaven Hill and more. We’ve also included the commercial ski centers, including the Paul Smith's College VIC, Dewey Mountain Recreation Center, Cascade X-C Ski Center and Mt. Van Hoevenberg.

Who is Green Goat Maps?

We are local. Ezra Schwartzberg created Green Goat Maps as an offshoot of his environmental consulting company Adirondack Research, LLC. We are based in Saranac Lake, and we are making these maps to support sustainable trail use. All of our maps focus on responsible recreation and highlight environmental stewardship. We are giving back through 1% for the Planet.

What are we looking for?

We need your help to get our map series off the ground. Pre-print orders will offset our printing costs. When you pre-order a map, you get it before everyone else - shipping included, delivered right to your door!

Thank you for your help and see you on the trails!
